"About the only thing wrong with the place is a few mosquitoes looking for blood.
They have bikes to borrow & cruise around town with.
Tranquility tucked away in a back street.
Staff are helpful & always look to be happy.
I’d stay there again. "
"This is a great place to stay it is very close to the shops and lots of places to eat it is also very quiet as it only as six apartments in the building the wonderful woman at reception is very helpful and speaks very good English i would recommend this property we will be staying here next time "
"We appreciate your excellent hospitality during our visit to Chiang Mai. Our friends and family enjoyed themselves, and we dare say it was a truly fantastic experience. We were particularly impressed with the outstanding breakfast and effective communication whenever we required assistance. We are eagerly anticipating our next visit here!- Shrey & KC"

"As a family hotel, I enjoyed my stay at Melia Chiang Mai as a couple. We upgraded to a Level suit and found the amenities worth it. The best part was the daily happy hour but you can also have breakfast with much better quality of food than found in the buffet. The location is quite walkable and near the night market and the old city but also a lot of great local restaurants and cafes. The food in the northern Thailand is amazing and you will never run out of options. The pool is amazing and they have great pool service but unfortunately, even though there is a kids pool, it does get over run with children. It would be great if there was an adults only or a Level pool for upgraded guests who prefer a quieter environment. The hotel staff were so warm and friendly, I need to give a shout out to Mos, who really made my visit feel as though I was appreciated at all times. Other highlights of the hotel is they make their own Kombucha that can be purchased at the bar. We did have a small issue with a leak from the air conditioner but the hotel sent a service man up ASAP and the issue never occurred again for the rest of our stay. I would definitely make a return visit next time I travel north in Thailand."
"The hotel greets you with warmth and hospitality from the moment you walk through the door. Staff extremely courteous and responsive. Horizon Lounge was a quiet oasis to relax and enjoy drinks and food. Free parking was an added bonus when it’s common to pay $50 a day or more at many premium hotels."
"This property is amazing in aesthetic and absolutely amazing staff. Service, cuisines, facilities… everything this property provides is excellent. I definitely would make the intercontinental in chiang mai my go to stay. The VIP lounge is conducive to my creativity. "
"I would definitely stay here again. The staff were super nice, friendly, and helpful especially Game. She went out of her way to help us plan activities, such as local markets, temples, visiting the elephant sanctuary, transportation, and much more! Our room was on the second floor and we had a view of One Nimman. The kids really enjoyed the pool and had tons of fun. The green tea waffles and red velvet pancakes for breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay here again, the experience was superb. "
"Best hotel in Chiang Mai! We come here almost yearly and this is one of our faves! Spring for the club room with the free dinner and drinks - it’s worth the extra!"
"The new hotel was perfectly located for see the markets and old city. The hotel was very clean and well staffed. Our room was very well equipped with water, small ref , security safe. Bath provided Lage cotton towels, shampoo, conditioning and body wash. Lobby sells drinks and small snacks. Pool area has limited seating but was never a issue. Water was very clean during our stay. Breakfast was very similar to our other hotels. If provided it fine. There is a really nice breakfast restaurant a few doors down for about the same price and was very good. The staff is really help you with our needs. All staff members were so very kind. "
"I really enjoyed my stay the staff were excellent. The rooms were nice. The breakfast buffet was really good.
A couple things I didn’t like was you had to pay to use the safe in your room. I also wish they had better dining options. They had a very limited menu in the restaurant. But other than that, my day was very good."
