"Excellent location. Clean rooms. Very friendly staff and go out of the way to make you feel welcome - we came for the Florence marathon and they started breakfast early and gave us a room for shower afterwards with extra drinks"

"Staff were super lovely, we were greeted by a very enthusiastic and full of character Giovanni who made us feel welcome. The place is very well kept, breakfast had a surprisingly wider variety of food for a continental breakfast, and is in a nice quiet part of Florence that is still accessible to the city centre. There are also some roaming cats around that became joyful to spot throughout our stay - thoroughly recommend this hotel!"

"Old style but impeccably kept hotel. Like the good old days and it is well located, just two blocks from the train station and three blocks from the Duomo. The rooms and hotel in general are beautiful. The operation is run great and the service is very efficient but don’t expect to get any smiles from the personnel. They do their job, well done but there is a lot of arrogance still. Also the rooms don’t have easy access plugins. I have to use only the one in the bathroom, the others are behind...

"The hotels atmosphere was pristine yet comfortable. Our room was a touch of classic yet modern. The staff was helpful with suggestions and assisting us. On a few occasions the young receptionist had breakfast packed for us before we left for early morning excursions. She was s delight. I will reccomend this beautiful hotel everytime! First class. "
