"Good, affordable hotel to stay at when visiting Portland. I liked the comfort of the bed and the pillows. The view was cool looking out toward downtown. The room was also sufficiently clean and the bedside had lots of power outlets for chargers/etc. The parking garage was a bit run downa nd I despise parking fees ($20/night) but after coming in from Boston, the parking becomes cheap. "We stayed overnight in Old Town during our first visit to Maine on May 1. Overall, the hotel is in a good location, and the king bedroom with a sofa bed was sufficient for three adults. I also took advantage of the complimentary breakfast and ordered a breakfast sandwich, which was good. The only issue we experienced was with the TV not working. "Currently doing renovations so main lobby closed and used small entrance. Booked room with balcony but unfortunately it rained during the day before we got there and the chair pillows were left out to get soaked. Finally dried out by morning but made the balcony less appealing. Nice room, big bed and great TV. No parking (and valet parking is $45/night which seems excessive). No room service but plenty of great restaurants 4 minutes away on foot. Highly recommend "Elizabeth" around the...
