"This property is good if you are looking for a place to shower and sleep. If you are looking for resort amenities or a fancy hotel, this isn't it. But it certainly served our function since we were out exploring from sunrise to sunset. We also appreciated the beach towels available for use. Parking can be tough if you get back to the hotel after 8pm. "

"This is the ideal setting if you want to relax in old style Hawaii setting. Immaculate grounds. Super quiet. Cottages are old but bedding is great and they are very clean. You appreciate it is a long historied plantation cottage - porch with seating and a view of the grounds was my happy place for a week for morning coffee and evening wine!"

"The most impressive thing about this property was the ocean view and access. We stayed 8 nights and it never felt crowded. There were always oceanfront chairs available with access to Oceanside drinks, refreshments and pool access. Also experienced beautiful sunsets just a short walk from the hotel."

"I plan to stay here again. As a solo traveler, the studio was extremely comfortable and the grounds felt safe and well kept. The dining options were perfect- grab and go, casual and fine dining were all right there. Lava's had one of the best Wedge salads I've ever eaten. The pools were sparkling, the parking easy (be aware of and the $40+ daily charge, though), and everyone I interacted with had a big smile. "
