"Adequate for our short stay"

"No livestock or manger to be seen, but we came less than an hour after a last minute booking and were welcomed graciously, despite arriving near midnight on Christmas Eve. Beautiful little flat, well maintained and clean, gated parking and a lovely hostess. Stocked well with a continental breakfast, which we enjoyed at midnight and again in the morning... we’d not found any shops or restaurants for dinner due to the holiday. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse. As we have had some business to do with Rhodes University it was very convenient for us. Rhodes University is just across the road. Highly recommendable. "

"Recently stayed at Woodbury Lodge & honestly can’t recommend enough. The staff were exceptional - extremely accommodating & went above & beyond to make our trip memorable. "Amazing weekend, staff go out of their way to ensure you are happy and they will try their upmost best to ensure you get game sightings during the stay. food is amazing, benefit if you are Muslim it is 100% halal accommodation is very luxurious and comfortable. Definitely a 5 star experience. "

"Bukela is a beautiful stay, facilities are great, friendly staff and our ranger (Sim) was very knowledgeable. Foodwise is really below average, just not good especially for a 5* resort. It felt like diner was prepared during the day and heated up in the evening, just not fresh. Breakfast was really poor. Only meal that was good was the lunch. No snacks during the day. Due to this matter i will not likely to visit Bukela again nor reconmend to anyone which is regretful as the staff and facilities...

"What a fantastic experience! Our family of four had an amazing time. Everyone really friendly, good food, lodges had all we needed, a (small) shared pool and table tennis for down time. But mainly, hours and hours of game drives with a brilliant guide (AK). A strong recommend!!!"
