"This place is all about the location. If you book a room with a river view, it's a great view. We could see part of the the Castle/St. Vitus from our room which was a beautiful site to wake up to. The place was spotless when we walked in and it was nice to have a room with a dishwasher/fridge/wash machine. We were lucky with the weather, but I think the absence of AC should be more clearly communicated. Still, the owners really need a better lock system. EVERYONE staying there had trouble opening the front door with the code. They also need to figure out the trash situation - it was quite unpleasant to return at the end of the day to an overflowing trash room as soon as you entered the front door. They also could supply soap for the shower or even a place to put soap/shampoo/etc. in the shower. In other words, while the place has its issues, but we would probably stay there again during the cooler months in order to be within 25 minute walking distance Old Town, across the street from the river, and close to the trams."

"Staff we awesum, helpful & really friendly. Breakfast was excellent & amazing & such a great variety of food & beverages. The take away sandwich was a huge benefit, it allowed us to only buy an evening meal. Tram transport was ideal across the road. Rooms were cleaned each day & our cleaner was lovely. Would highly recommend to others & would definately stay there again if ever we go to Prague again. Nga mihinui"

"I stayed at Ambiance Hotel for 5 nights with my teenage son. I contacted the hotel ahead of time to request twin room, the hotel were quick responded, and a note made on our booking, and upon check-in, had been granted. Our room was lovely and spacious, with super comfy beds and a lovely big soft pillow. There were also extra blankets if we needed them. The room had plenty of space for us to hang our clothes, space for our luggage, and an in room safe for valuables. There was a desk and chair, a flat screen television, and a small fridge with ice box that came in handy for keeping cold drinks in. The view from our room was lovely. The room had air-conditioning that you could control, which was needed during the heatwave while we were in Prague. The bathroom was also a good size, with a shower and a bath tub, toilet, sink, and hairdryer. There was shampoo, and hand soap provided. As for the rest of the hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The outdoor area was lovely for enjoying a morning coffee (brought up from breakfast) or enjoying a cold beverage whilst reading in the evening. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of continental style options. Overall, the hotel was quite. We barely heard any of the other guests. The location was perfect! A 2 minute walk from the metro & trams. You can easily get to the airport in 40 minutes using public transport. I highly recommend staying in this hotel when visiting Prague. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant and relaxing experience. One of the features we especially appreciated was the air conditioning, which provided a welcome retreat after spending time exploring the city, particularly during warmer weather. The hotel offered a variety of excellent amenities that enhanced our stay, including a swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center. These facilities provided a great opportunity to relax and unwind after a full day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a delicious selection of options to start the day. We also appreciated the family-friendly policy that allowed children to enjoy breakfast free of charge, making the stay even more convenient for families. Although the hotel is located approximately 2 kilometers from Prague’s Old Town, we found the location to be very convenient. It was within easy reach of Wenceslas Square and surrounded by many shops, cafés, and excellent restaurants. The area offered plenty of options for dining and exploring while still providing a quieter atmosphere away from the busiest tourist areas. Public transportation options nearby also made it easy to reach Prague’s historic center and other major attractions. Overall, the combination of the hotel’s cleanliness, comfortable accommodations, excellent amenities, and convenient location made it a wonderful place to stay while vis"

"Air conditioning a lovely bonus in the current heatwave, mattress comfortable. Basic room but everything you need, no English channels on TV when a break from sightseeing is needed. Reception staff very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Some of the breakfast staff however seemed very ‘angry’. Whilst I appreciate a fast turnaround around at breakfast, slamming plates & cups and tutting when collecting used trays is not necessary while people are trying to enjoy their meal. Fabulous location for shopping & transport. Overall though 8/10, would stay again."
