Personable and authentic staff; sleep in the jungle and get to view everything (sloths, monkeys, etc) others pay guides to see; footsteps from a stunning beach, this is a truly an all in one Costa Rica experience. But as the website notes, this is for those that want a more raw experience, so don’t expect the hottest showers or finest linens. But you are very well taken care of and staff are very responsive. They’ll provide the inside scoop on trusted contacts for excursions. If you want to help support local, book now. Andrea prepares a home cooked breakfast each morning with locally sourced food items (cacao, eggs, coffee even the peanut butter is from local farmers) and has all the connections you could need for building a holiday you’ll never forget. "We spent alot of time around the pool as it was so nice as was the property in general.Didn't go out on the street much but the resort has good isolation from the street scene. Preffered the pool to the beach."

"Pool , staff every thing was great. I wish I had realized There was a small store almost across the street. I also wish they had beach chairs. Take a small soft collapsible ice chest for the beach. I felt very safe there and traveling around the area. Rent a rav 4 or similar. Go beach hopping , explore off the beaten path a little. Not difficult to do. Plug your phone in to the car. You will be fine. "
