"Undergoing renovations during my stay so have to reserve judgement a bit. Room was clean and comfortable and small things do matter. Hot chocolate and biscuits were a much appreciated extra that I wasn’t expecting. WiFi worked fine for me and breakfast was good. "

"Everything is excellent! The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi. All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night). Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby. Highly recommended."

"Comfortable room and stay. Leisure facilitates were good. Great sized pool. Main house was beautiful and staff helpful. There appeared to be a lack of signage where the reception was etc. Breakfast was amazing and good value."

"The hotel, staff and food were all excellent, the only downfall is you have to pay to park there which I dont agree with if you are staying there. For that reason I will not stay there again."

"The hotel it self is well located. Close to the Gunwharf Quays and in walking distance from the train station and the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The staff was really friendly. Especially when I asked how to get to the D-Day Museum. Breakfast was well stocked with the basics. The I would say is the rooms could use an upgard. But if you are looking for a well located hotel. This is for you."

"Brilliant place to stay. Short walk into Arundel so left car at the hotel and visited the castle. Staff were super friendly and the room was great. Clean and comfy. It even had a hairdryer! A full cooked breakfast, cereals, toast, croissants and cakes were included in the room price. I couldn't believe it was only a 2 star. I will definitely return."

"Nice location, in the deep of Surrey AONB but that’s where it ends. The building itself is dated and needs modernising. It’s great as somewhere to lay your head. Small bathroom, thin pillows and duvets. "
