"It was a very nice place to stay. Location was excellent for transport which was most of the reason I chose it. The room was good size for London and the shower was excellent. Do be aware that they put a sizable hold on your credit card (mine was £300 for 4 nights) against any money you might spend at the restaurant or damage caused to the room. I thought this was excessive and might not have booked had I been aware."

"The hotel is in a very nice part of London, aware from the hussle and bussle but with easy access to all areas. Good restaurant and bar. Staff friendly and helpful. Our toilet had a problem on our last day with the water running and the flusher broke."

"Booked the room due to high reviews but had an average experience. The room was small but nicely designed and quiet despite facing the busy street. Breakfast was good and a free beer at the pub downstairs was appreciated. On the negatives the stairs/hallway smelled like fish and chips which fortunately didn’t impact the room and TV and WiFi spotty at best. Overall, a fine and convenient home base for exploring the area but won’t be a return trip for me."

"Truly a b&b without the breakfast. The room was a typical European lodge room with the basic amenities needed. Bed was comfortable. Small bathroom, again very typical for old European buildings, so no major surprises. Very thankful there was a fan as it did get quite warm at times and in an old building it just holds the heat. "We stayed at this hotel for six nights, and unfortunately our experience with housekeeping and customer service was extremely disappointing. Starting from our third night, we repeatedly requested that our bed sheets and duvet covers be changed. We informed the front desk multiple times on the third, fourth, and fifth days of our stay, but the bedding was never properly replaced. After several complaints, housekeeping eventually left what they claimed were clean sheets and duvet covers on top...

"Room is nicely furnished and clean, but for whatever reasons equipped with only 1 roll of toilet paper. You will be provided with more, but have to ask in the lobby for it, as there is no room cleaning/service provided during your stay."

"We like the location as it's very tranquil, 10-15 minutes walk to Hammersmith Station. Good restaurants nearby. We had one meal in the bar which was very nice. The room is very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. They will help you with your luggage if asked. There is no lift to the rooms.
