"This was our third visit to this property, and although we still enjoyed the location, the beautiful grounds, and found the staff very helpful and accommodating, the quality and quantity of entertainment at this hotel has declined and the rooms are not as well maintained. It was very noisy during our visit. The buffet dining areas were very loud, with heavy chairs scraping across the floors, crying children, and a lot of slamming hotel room doors. "My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is slightly off the beaten path, which made it quiet and enjoyable for us. We walked to the beach and to “downtown” San Poncho every day. The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful we enjoyed amazing fresh fruit and delicious coffee every morning and we had dinner there one night as well, all were 10/10. "AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good. The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!"

My friend and I enjoyed sitting out or enjoying a hammock by the river often. I also enjoyed that there was a small row boat that I could row over to the beach area.
