But it comes with all the charm of a boutique hotel, like a slow elevator (and only one small elevator), so don't expect the perks and efficiency of a franchise hotel. "My room was spacious and had a nice view of the Chicago skyline and the lake. Loved the fridge & microwave in it. Wasn't happy about the parking charge; however, the location was great with restaurants close. The bathroom sink did not drain well. "This place is right next to a road and lots of road noises at night. The AC/heater makes loud noise that you can’t sleep. For a motel room, the room is pretty clean. But the location is just terrible. I would not stay here as I can’t even get a decent sleep here. "

The hotel has a list of restaurants that came in handy . You can park in front of the hotel for 15 minutes for dropping off or picking up your luggage and the parking garage is around the block .The rooms are very comfortable. My only issue is if it's Hilton mandate not to have a daily housekeeping tidy-up, that needs to be stated clearly up front, actually at booking. I'd rather book two single nights than have to make my own beds and tidy up while on holiday. That's not a holiday."
