"Positives:
Clear instructions for the location and parking
Heating had been turned on prior to our arrival
Fridge had individual butter, milk and jam plus washing things were provided
Unfortunately the negatives are much more plentiful:
We sat on the sofa and the leg immediately fell off causing the sofa to collapse. This has been taped together.
Most of the cupboards in the kitchen were nearly hanging off.
The shower curtain was smelly and dirty.
Despite following instructions and the...

"Immaculate and beautiful cottage (we stayed in Barley) with all home comforts. Access to a gorgeous swimming pool and gardens. The location in the hamlet of Water Newton is stunning and gorgeous walks through the countryside are abundant.
This isn’t a conventional self catering arrangement because the owners live on site and the cottages have a share with permanent residents. This means that you can’t invite friends or family over in daytime or evening without advance express permission. This...

"The apartment is very conveniently located in the heart of Leicester. It didn’t take us long to walk to anywhere in the city. Lovely decor and super modern. Had all the facilities we needed, full kitchen, living area and double bedroom.
The only downsides were that the bathroom had a really strong drain smell and then in a morning we’d get food smells in the kitchen that seemed to be coming through from other apartments. These are more building issues rather than the stay itself though. The...

"Staff and cleanliness superb. Disappointed that the tv was not working. There was a problem with all the new smart tv’s it seems, but our plan after a long day and needing an early start in the morning was to chill out watching Strictly! So very disappointing. Mattress was very hard, otherwise everything great. "
"Excellent hotel and great location. The hotel itself is fairly new and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff is great and restaurant is excellent. Will definitely stay here again. "
"The room was clean, spacious, and with everthing I needed, along with the comfortable bed.
Of particular note was the wonderful welcome at reception from Jess, who continued in to chat each time I passed by. It felt like meeting up with an old friend!"
