"Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts. I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect! Thanks so much. I hope to be back soon."

"Our room was spacious, and being on the top floor, it had a great view. We ordered room service, and it was delivered promptly, making our stay very comfortable. We also appreciated having slippers in the room, which made it even more relaxing. The only minor downside was that the shower pressure was a bit weak. Otherwise, we had an excellent stay."

"Rooms were good size. Bed was large and comfy. Pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a good size. All very clean. The floors in the room are laminate and could do with a good hoover and mop. Swimming pool was a good size. Sauna and steam rooms were working and usable. Gym was small but had everything needed. £15 parking for 24hr is a let down. If your a staying guest parking should be included. Towels are supplied for use at the pool and gym so you don't have to take them from the room."

"A very nice B&B in a peaceful location and a pub is just a walking distance away! There is a court yard within the compound where one can relax. We enjoyed our one night stay here and enjoyed our full English breakfast. Thank you."

It does not say on the web page that the SWIMMING POOM is part of a kepp fit membership, and that has members that go there 1st thing in the morning and moan about children enjoying themselves while they are trying to get their lengths in. "Michael at reception was so helpful and gave me all the information I needed with regards to my room and food/drink. My room was clean, very peaceful and had a good sized desk and office chair so I was able to work during my stay. Food was nice and generous portions. The air con was fantastic in this hot weather. Overall an excellent hotel for business. I will be back!"

We were given a room next to the marquee which was a great location for us as we attending the wedding reception. "The entire complex was immaculately clean and fresh. The staff were welcoming on arrival and during our stay. The facilities are exceptional as was the breakfast, more than adequate and food quality was superb. The only (very) minor negatives are: The car park is not clearly displayed as being for patrons of the hotel leading to some confusion on arrival.
