Breakfast was serve yourself. There was plenty of bits to be had toast eggs cereal and pano chocolate bottled water and orange juice and tea and coffee everyday tea or flavoured

Quick break

Very clean accommodation we did not mind continental breakfast plenty of tea coffee ect if needed. The room was very clean and a good wifi service if needed. Close to all amenities if needed. A special thank you to the housekeeper who was very professional and very helpful. We would stay again

As soon as you walk through the front door you can smell how clean and fresh it is. Arrived early and that wasn't a problem. Breakfast was very nice all the essentials were there. 100% we would stay again

Stayed one night on road trip. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was self service' in kitchen but had good choice of items (cereal, bread to toast, prepackaged croissants, etc). No problem parking on-site with supermarket only a short drive away. Overall good value.

Highly Recommended

After trying a number of different hotels I am now a regular at the Chatterley. Always a warm welcome and a comfy room. The gym is a real bonus and some breakfast items are available which is always handy. Clean and presentable rooms and a quiet location. Highly recommended.

Very nice

Lovely comfortable room. Bed was lovely, daily cleaning and fresh towels, nice bathroom with good shower. Parking can be a little tight if you have a larger vehicle and the tv could be a bit bigger but overall it suited my needs.

exceptional value for facilities and price

I went up to visit my GF and look for rental property, the rooms are small but functional with on suit toilet and shower. There are extras like washing machine, microwave for self service and self service continental breakfast items. the rooms were cleaned daily and for the price you cannot complain. When i checked in the host was very friendly and there is a contact number if you have any issues which was not needed. I would definitely visit them again if I was not moving to the area to live

Little gem

B&b was excellent room was compact It has everything, nice and clean,comfy bed . As soon as you enter the property there is a gym not only that table tennis. The grounds kept lovely,play area for children at rear and tables & chairs outside. Free continental breakfast provided just help yourself which was more than adequate. I really enjoyed my stay thank you

The property is reasonably clean. The bed wasn’t very comfy and the room was really warm (with a thick quilt on the bed too). Check in was easy and the breakfast facilities are good (although would have been nice to see some fruit)

Wonderful place as a work base or couples retreat

I stay in hotels for work often and fancied a change from travelodges etc. This place was great. Only 10 miles from Nottingham and easy access to the M1 made this a lovely base 30mins from the hussle and bussle. The place was spotlessly clean, the hosts were very friendly but also allowed for space after coming in from work. The small gym is a nice touch and the breakfast set up was great with a caffetiere, toast and cereals. Parking was adequate and the building itself had lots of character. I will definately return both for work and with my partner and explore the area as some nice walks are on the doorstep. In summary this place offers a personal touch in a place with such character and for the price is extremely reasonable compared to hotels closer to Nottingham city centre. Fab.

Breakfast was poor. In this day and age with various dietry requirements out there, there should be other options available. At the very least they should have plant based milks and spread for tea and cereal and toast etc. The bed was comfy but the shower was weak. Tiny shower head with no pressure. Also considering the owners property is adjacent to the accomodation it's a bit much to make the final check in 9pm. We were travelling from work and were concerned we wouldn't make it in time. Only alternative we were given was to cancel. We didn't want to organise anything else so we kept the booking but it put a lot of pressure on us making sure we were there for 9pm. They have a small gym but it seemed a bit pointless when they pay lip service to breakfast. They'd be better off turning the gym into a more spacious breakfast area as the current one is tiny with barely room to swing a cat. And they should provide a proper subsantial breakfast that caters for various dietry requirements. That is what travellers most appreciate.
