The room is very traditional, as is the riad. The bathroom was good, with an excellent hot shower. I only had breakfast one day, it was simple but delicious, specially the orange juice. The location is what really makes it stand out, I’m a woman traveling solo, so safety is really important for me, so I didn’t want to be in an alley far into the maze. This riad is in a route full of people and commerce, so it was always busy (but never loud) and it made my experience be great and safe. I would stay there again and recommend it.
I went as a solo female traveller and it was safe, friendly and very clean. Very convenient location. I would take note that although it is hot in the daytime it is very cold at night.
The guy at the reception is really kind and also the woman working in there doing breakfast . Really gentle people , the riad is in the middle of the e Medina but in a little street aside and it s really quiet and peaceful . The rooms are really clean . I would recommend it !

Centrally located in the middle of the medina, walking distance to palace, main square, many nice restaurants. Breakfast basic juice, bread, tea, coffee and croissant every day, but fresh and nice. Friendly staff and always available. No toiletries provided so bring your own. Only cost 100 dirham to get to airport on return. Paid 300 on way there, so hope this helps you know what to pay for taxis.
The tiny old room
No amenities
No tea coffee sugar creamer nothing
No water kettle hair dryer or iron
No telephone
No WiFi
No water
No service
Only high rate and additional hidden charges
We both had to buy internet 31$ each as no internet which was promised and said it will be back in max 2 hours
Breakfast was never taken as the service looks pathetic
Tourist charges are 30 MAD per person every day was never told or informed us until the last day of stay
Contacted Expedia but they offered $25 one key credit which is funny
We left the room early to leave as it was nothing just a box with no service
Expedia asked 72hours to get back to us where everything was already explained and they could check when we were still in the hotel
We paid altogether £115 and the additional tax plus $62 dollars for internet
I hope to get the compensation asap

Great location in the Medina. Very easy to find and a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of the local area. The staff were superb and the owner even slept in the property on our last night in order to make us breakfast earlier than usual because we had to leave early.
Our only hiccup was the fact we ordered 4xTwin rooms and the property didn't cater for this despite me receiving confirmation (was this Hotels.com fault??). Not ideal for 8 lads when two of the rooms are doubles but they found an extra bed and we just about managed!! Nice rooms if a little dark but a very authentic riad.
hotel is located down a back street, near the market which has a lot to explore but at times you will be approached to buy their goods by street sellers who hard sale you to buying. The hotel is basic, bed and breakfast ,no TV, or mini bar but was clean, room was dark due to location.however the staff were polite and manager was eager to please which i could not fault.
Had a really good stay at Raid Marrakiss last week. The location of the Riad is excellent! You will be in Jemaa el-Fna in a short 3 minute walk. I looked at other properties that were further away, and I'm really glad that I stayed here due to the close proximity to the square, and plentiful restaurants in the area. Josef and his staff were most accommodating, questions answered, tips etc. The area around the Riad is safe, the alleyway to the Riad is dark, but never felt uncomfortable walking solo at night. Do watch for a pack of young boys that wanted their photo taken, and could have been pick-pockets. Just give a firm NO, and keep walking. Although it woke you up at 0616, the call to prayer was really interesting to hear!

Yards from the Souk, but a peaceful haven. Good in all ways. Staff very good. If you want to be close to the busy street life, but peaceful at night,,,,,, don't forget you will be called to prayers anywhere in the centre of the City, but you will get used to it, and quickly drop back to sleep.
