"Beautiful hotel, great staff and decent food. Unfortunately we went in January so it was a bit cold at times. Also, the area around the hotel is not that developed; activists/shopping/sightseeing outside the hotel are typical over an hour away by car."

I have been coming to Egypt for over 20 years and have to say the new style of hotels are a great format for European travelers. The hotel and gardens are immaculate and kept very clean. "The hotel is in a very remote location—great for diving, but there’s little else to do. The pool and the sea were beautiful, and the view from the room was nice. However, the food was disappointing, and the nearby towns were overcrowded tourist traps. An okay stay, but not ideal if you’re looking for variety."
