"Good location for the south bay & spa area. Added bonus of the pool & spa area in the hotel. Bedrooms could benefit from curtains or black out blinds and the fire doors bang in other apartments which is quite noisey, but we have been twice & wouldnt hesitate to go back!"

"Very cute and quaint cottage with lots of greenery all around. Very comfortable accommodations, and the freshly baked loaf of bread was such a thoughtful touch. We wish we could have stayed longer! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "I LOVED this hotel. I’m a world touring cyclist and I love quiet and remote. This hotel was FANTASTIC. Idyllic setting high above the bay. Beautiful grounds. Lovely gardens. Stunning. The hotel just had a makeover and it looks beautiful! My room overlooked the sea—clean and comfortable and a great bathtub! Breakfast was plentiful and high quality. A dreamy stop as I pedal the UK. Many, many thanks! "

Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough by Compass Hospitality

"We were in room 302 which has a sea view and was very clean and well presented. My only comment on the room is it was very warm, it felt like the heating was on, even though the outside weather was 20 degrees and overcast. I was also a bit surprised at the additional £50 I was asked to pay on check in (????), although this is refunded when you check out. The staff are very nice and the hotel very good and I would recommend a stay here. The hotel is very high up and there are a lot of steps to climb if the tramway isn't working from the beach to the top of the hill. Overall I was very pleased with our stay at the Crown Spa Hotel and would certainly revisit."
