"Hotel was in a good area in Downtown Portland, many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Hotel had a restaurant with good food, I ordered a bowl that was very good. Housekeeping everyday, water machine in lobby which was very helpful as a tourist. Hotel staff greeted you kindly with a “welcome back”. Rooms were clean, noise from other rooms/hallway was minimal. "Rooftop wine and cheese hour with live music was such a sweet touch. Received a great recommendation from the front desk for a coffee shop/cocktail bar around the perfect. Rooms were large and well-appointed and quiet. Parking is reasonable adn secure in the garage under the hotel, though only suitable for smaller cars. Loved our stay!"

"Such a comfortable king bed. Conveniently located (walked to get Thai takeout at thai peacock), and was able to street park after 7 pm and before 8 am at no cost. Nespresso was a great touch. TV remote could use a good deep clean though. Will stay here again if I am ever in Portland."

"We were surprised by poor service at The Heathman. Housekeeping, in particular, was lacking. The first day our towels were refreshed, but the beds left unmade and the coffee supplies were not replenished. I called the front desk to specifically request housekeeping for the following day to make sure they knew we wanted our room attended to and that we needed more creamer. "It's a nice hotel but nowhere near luxury class and was overpriced. Paid almost 30 for a tiny piece of fish. Was told it came with peas when we asked what it came with. There were literally 12 peas. So I guess technically it came with peas. After eating the 4 bites of fish, we went out for dinner after dinner. Luxury prices but not a luxury experience."

Its like thebfrozen food that you always had to eat when you hung out with your trailer park friends snd their mom didnt ever cook just threw some nuggies or cardboard looking personal pizzas into the microwave oven.
