The location was fine. What soured me on this experience was that I got a text before I'd even checked in asking for my credit card -- which led me to wonder if it was legitimately coming from the hotel or a phishing scam as the text was from a third party servicer in a different state... but to then to go ahead charge me an extra $62 per room for "amenities" when all we did was drink a one bottle of provided water in each room (we rented 2 rooms) when there was no indication that these were not gratis? First time that's ever happened to me. A bit of bait and switch there, so no, I will not be going back... and that doesn't even include that the tub drain was clogged in one room and there was hair on the floor.

Not sure how this place scores a high rating on Expedia. Balcony only on floors two and three, so if you’re wanting a high-level view, pass on the Balcony’s. The balcony’s overlook the park and no view. Room is dark and dingy. Would have took a high floor without the balcony if we knew the limitations.

The property itself is a little antiquated, but the room was great. The carpet was a bit of a turn off, brown is never a good color for carpet but at least it was clean. The room smelled clean, the bed …..i slept like a baby. It was wonderful. The bathroom was clean and I would definitely stay again.
