"The Peralta is a complex of renovated, historic, Italian cottages high in the Apuan Alps. It has charm, character and fabulous views but our apartment was still well-equipped (wifi, aircon, parking, kitchenette, lounge chairs and dining table) and had two bedrooms with comfortable beds. It was remarkable value and the hosts Kate and Blaise were charming, helpful with fluent English. Blaise collected our bags from the parking area in their Piaggio, booked us a table at a local restaurant and...

"Property was not clean (cobwebs everywhere, dirty floor, broken toilet seat) and bug infested. Avoid! We checked out after one night as we could not stay. Disappointed that Hotels.com have not been able to offer an immediate refund and compensation based on the photos provided. "

"A beautiful rustic house on a large terraced plot, very well kept and equipped with everything one could wish for to make a relaxing stay, in a wonderfully quiet location with amazing views, olive grove and a veggie garden. We spent a very happy week in a b-happy villa!"

"The bed was broken and matress had a whole in the middle. There were moskitos inside the house and they should put something to repel them. In the pictures the place looks much nicer and spacious than what it is in real life."
