"We loved our stay at Villas Verdes. Perfect location- close to town and beach. Loved the private outdoor space and a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. Kids loved the pool and we appreciated the boogie boards and pool toys available for beach and pool. The staff were great. There was always someone cleaning and maintaining the property and beautiful tropical gardens. We’d definitely stay here again."

"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. "We had a great time staying here, the pool was perfect in the afternoon and everything is such a short walk away. They also had some beach chairs and umbrellas for us to take down to the beach. Samara is a great town and this hotel was the perfect place to stay."
