"The hotel is ideal for the station and exploring the old town or Rouen. Our party was on the 1st and 2nd floors and we experienced no noise. The rooms are on the small side but have all you need for a couple of nights-the bathrooms are surprisingly large. Our rooms had a modern stylist decor. We opted for the express breakfast for 10euros which was all we needed of a morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Value for money."
"We stayed there with a family of 4 (2 college-age kids.) The kids slept on a sofa bed that pulled out to 2 twin beds. There was enough space in the room. We could walk to everything…especially the lovely pastry shops. We loved exploring the mid-evil streets, eating at Paul’s Brasserie, seeing the beautiful cathedrals, and soaking in the chill vibes of Rouen! The pastries at Bastien were amazing! So amazing, I went back just to get more. We parked our car on-site, which was nice. At only .80 Euros an hour, this was a great value. We drove to Fe Camp to visit with family, and it was a beautiful ride with farms, cideries, and a beautiful coast. (And WWII history.)"
"Cycling London to Paris. This was our first stop. No bike storage, but chained to railings in full sight of 24hr reception.
Hotel was very nice, and looking at staying here again. Food was delicious, including evening buffet. Staff were very helpful, including escorting us to see the chef to discuss vegetarian buffet options (and help with language barrier).
Unfortunately, we did not have a long enough stay to enjoy the hotel's facilities (pool, spa, golf, grounds, etc), but would look at staying here again. "
"We use it as a stopover as it is mid journey to between home and Charente Maritime. The staff are very pleasant and it is clean and comfortable. The dining area has been converted to a breakfast area with new buffet and tables and chairs and dinner is no longer available. We hit opening day for the new breakfast area and given the grand tour by the lovely staff member, but the tray rail and trays were gone, fortunately it was not busy so if you had cereal and coffee you took it to your table, had come back for bread, or juice etc. which left for a lot of movement and would lead to congestion at busier times.
'Just saying' I am sure someone with experience as thought this out."
"Absolutely fabulous - a lovely house in a beautiful village. Cécile is a charming host and nothing is too much trouble. We opted for the Suite de la Chapelle - a superb room with excellent views - well worth the higher charge. The Table d´hôte was delicious and fantastic value. Do go there!"
