Beautiful property, lobby, hallways and spacious room that was well appointed. Front desk staff were helpful in guiding us where to park, dinner plans and exploring the town. We had a very nice and simple dinner and drinks in the restaurant. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this hotel and a visit to Rouen.

The staff was so helpful in explaining the parking and codes etc. the one gal who was working the evening we arrived was exceptional at English and happy to send us to dinner, recommending à very local and yummy place off the beaten path. Loved that. Be patient to find your way to their parking. It’s worth the stay in Center of town.

The property has an excellent location in the old city close to the cathedral (expect some bells!). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only crticism is that Expedia described the hotel as having "laundry facilities". If you screen for "washer and dryer", Expedia gives a positive result for the hotel. When we enquired, we were told that the hotel has a laundry service (several Euros for each item) but no washer and dryer for guest use. We were directed to a nearby laundromat. Mercure's own web site does not mention laundry facilities so the mistake rest with Expedia.

Great staff , very good breakfast, lots to do close by (shops , restaurants etc) a little hard to get to if driving and not familiar with the area. GPS kept trying to bring us down streets that didn’t allow vehicles, ended up parking a couple blocks away and walked there . But would stay again

I have stayed at this location twice, because I was so impressed I came back. The location is impeccable and it is a joy to be right near the cathedral. Staff are lovely and very helpful, and they also have a wonderful aselection of wines in the bar, should you wish to look at your excellent view and relax. I highly recommend the stay.

Very good spot for visiting Rouen's tourist sites. Study the hotel's email well before attempting to find the hotel and parking. Arrive early if you wish to get a parking space. An excellent place to stay for central Rouen.

An Absolutely fabulous location for a Hotel right in the historical centre of Rouen, Next door the the Famous Cathedral and Christmas Market. We could not ask for a better hotel, it was Brilliant.
