However the down side was firstly the hotel was very difficult to find and you should make guests aware before booking that the restaurant is not onsite but in a sister hotel quite a walk away involving a steep hill up and then down. "Our hosts were absolutely wonderful! We stayed at Gibos for four nights and the home-cooked Turkish breakfast was superb every day. We were offered excellent recommendations on hikes, dinner options (Sinasos Wine House), and they made our hot air balloon ride reservations for us with a great company (we normally don’t do those kind of activities, but it was incredible!). The view is absolutely breathtaking—you could easily spend your entire trip just soaking it in from the hotel and leave Cappadocia feeling refreshed. The room itself was beautiful, complete with a Jacuzzi inside, which was a unique touch. But what makes the stay truly special is the incredible hospitality of Selin, Badri, and his mother. They are exceptional hosts—attentive, kind, and always available.
