"Stayed one night. Not a bad place to stay as the rooms are clean and functional. The design however is something else. Rooms with windows facing corridors not to mention toilets that can only be used sitting sideways and showers that not well thought through. Use of a professional architect would have gone a long way to making this work. Nevertheless the staff are friendly and the food is excellent with generous portions."

"DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA Hotel was fine - decent quality for the money. Staff was very helpful. "A surprisingly well equipped and well conceived property in the south-western region of Uganda. It's very quiet, very well-designed and my wife says it is of European quality - which is a compliment! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. The facilities including gym are way better than in most Ugandan properties. It is a little overpriced and the food is unremarkable BUT if I had to stay near Mbarara and I could get the rate down by 30% this would definitely be my preferred...

"At check-in, there was no salutation. I was never asked for ID or who I was. They led me straight to my room. This raises serious security concerns. The pipework under the sink was non-existent. So I had to deploy a bucket to collect waste water and avoid spillage in the room.
