"I loved my 1 night stay at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amboseli National Park. The lodge itself is located just outside of the NP, but they conveniently have a buffet-style restaurant inside the park. We were pleasantly surprised that all of meals, including our lunch in the restaurant inside the park, were included in our nightly fee. The facilities are fabulous, the food is excellent, and the staff is wonderful. "

The Park entrance is only a 5 to 10 mim drove away from this camp.Make sure to call the property or email them directly after booking with Expedia since they seem to have technical issues with them. Felt safe. But gosh, food is lame and expensive at 2,000 per person for Lunch and Dinner although breakfast is free. Make sure to be clear about the prices too. "Extemely angry at our treatment at this hotel. Would recomend avoiding at all costs. We did not want food during our stay and brought are own however the staff made food anyway and guilt tripped us into eating it. We then asked for costs or prices and were told the food was free and inclusive to our stay. Sadly this was a complete a lie and at checkout they tried to charge us 25 pounds a person for each meal. Even the small pack lunches with half a sandwich and an apple. The staff then lied and...
