"The house was impressive on the outside when we arrived. Once inside, the initial impression was good. As we checked things out, though, we found some things that we were not happy with. The fan in Master bedroom did not work. The remote control had corroded batteries in it. I did find a new battery in a drawer and tried to make it work, but it never did. "Upon arrival surrounding area was not inviting. Seemed slummy. Front porch steps broken and unlevel. Looked unkempt. Front door window was very large. Could view inside home with no secure feeling, no blind or cover up. Very neat appearance when entering, however could tell this was a very old home that was dolled up a little. "There are a few things you should know before you book. This property is nice. We had a good stay, but immediately upon arrival you will realize that there are many rules to abide by or you will lose your deposit. It became a running joke between all of us during our stay. We were actually very careful to try to do everything correctly so that we would not lose the deposit. We took very good care of the home. The day after checkout i recieved an email explaining that we had broken the rules and...
