"It was very clean, I love the rustic setting, I love the convenience of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the food truck that had coffee and delicious muffins in the morning, the live music at night, the gas fire pit outside, an Italian and Mexican place within walking distance, and I did not hear any noise through the walls from my neighbors (huge bonus!). I also like the fact that it had various sizes of pillows. I like the fact that it had a mini fridge and microwave and coffee station. I’m guessing my unit might have been a handicap unit because the bathroom counter was low, which was fine, because I am sure anyway, but it did not have chairs for the little kitchenette table. And I believe they normally provide shampoo and conditioner, and such; but ours did not have it in the unit when we went there. But it wasn’t a big deal because I did bring my own."

"Our room was very clean, and the staff made check‑in and check‑out easy and pleasant. Breakfast is included and offers the typical hotel options, but the coffee was surprisingly great. "We stayed there recently and we absolutely loved the pool and the hot tub. Shaun and Jody are amazing hosts. Our cabin as one of the cabins that isn’t quite remodeled yet but it’s in great condition and was big enough for an entire family ! It was spotless and the bed was comfortable. My only wish list was to have a mountain view but for the price I’d definitely stay there again. We loved how close we were to the lake and Chimney Rock. Great place to relax and breathe in the fresh air."
