"Decent breakfast"

"The lobby and breakfast area are being renovated so all the pictures of the hotel first floor are fake. When we stayed, everyone had to take the breakfast to your room. The hotel and Expedia should notify guests that there is construction going on. It should NOT be a surprise when you arrive. "

"I have almost nothing but wonderful things to say about my week long stay. I thought upon check in there should be some incentive given to gamble. 10 Match play, free slot plays, SOMETHING. Instead I was given a $10 slot play as I was checking out.... Counterintuitive if you ask me. But overall? 4.8 out of 5. I do wish there was 24 food available, or it would have been a 5. The hours the restaurants ARE open, they serve amazing food and really good prices. My room was perfect. "

"Despite all the other hotels around Motel 6 that costs more, we weren't dissappointed at all with Motel 6. For the lower price, Motel 6 at this location was great! Will use again when I visit my son in Arcata."

"This was a basic vintage hotel. It was comfortable and fine, but nothing to write home about. For instance, the rooms don’t have microwaves or little fridges. But the bathtub was really deep and awesome. It’s the kind you wanna get on the open ocean with a paddle and head your way to Hawaii."

"The patio and large hot tub with waterfalls was awesome after a long day of traveling. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the free limo shuttle to old town was very welcome. "We enjoyed our stay the room was large with a full refrigerator dishwasher microwave. We got there late so it was great they had a small area to buy food drinks snacks. The gym was really nice and so was the pool/ hot tub. The staff was friendly and helpful. "

"Our stay at the HolidayExpress was great . The room was clean we stayed in the room with the jacuzzi in it and it was wonderful. I use a walker and there was plenty of room for me to maneuver around the room. The jacuzzi was so relaxing after driving for 6 hours . My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much . "
