"Perfect location right off the Blueridge Parkway. Under new ownership , being renovated, Hardwood floors, large bathroom, very comfortable bed and pillows."

"The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...

"The Virginian is a small and older motel in small town southern Virginia. If you are looking for a bed for a few nights this is the place. If you're looking for fancy, look elsewhere, The staff was helpful, the beds comfortable, and the location convenient for what I needed. It is also pet friendly for a $10 per night pet fee, much less than I have paid elsewhere."

"Wonderful area, lots to do & see. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. So very quiet up there, large porch, lots of rocking chairs & a swing. They had a spacious interior(living room & separate dining room), library with puzzles & games. Good Coffee & tea Excellent food! Staff was personable but were careful to give you space. Can't wait to go back!"

"This is a great place to stay. The breakfast is muffins and bread and cereal. There is a little convenient store next to it. It’s right off the interstate and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend."
