Overall, this hotel offers one of the best deals in Laureles, Medellín. For a very reasonable rate , you get a room with a small kitchen and a nice size bathroom. It's a new hotel.
The location is close to supermarkets and pharmacies... There is even a 24-hour urgent care next door.
They provide laundry service at a reasonable cost , less than a dollar per pound of laundry.
They do charge about $20 if you have a visitor come to your room.
The only main issue is a nightclub that is next door... During the evenings of Thursday through Sunday the whole hotel is vibrating from 9pm to about 2am. If you have to wake up early during the weekends, then this could be a problem.
The hotel is going to have to negotiate some kind of compromise with the nightclub next door. The speakers at the club are quite powerful.
However, during the day the room is very quiet... You can sleep late in the morning without any problem. The quietest rooms are the ones facing towards the back, away from avenida 33.
Also, I think the hotel has to do a better job of mopping and sweeping the tile floor of the rooms. They were quite dusty and full of lint.
Overall , compared to other hotels in Laurelis you get a great deal. The rooms are quite big...plenty of closet space. You get a basic kitchen with a fridge and a microwave and a stove top with two burners (there is no oven).
Highly recommend.
