"Arrived to find used nappies on the entry steps and empty drug bags on the kitchen bench. Our workers refused to stay there as the general condition was terrible. Definitely not fit to be rented out as accommodation. Owners were disgusting to deal with and refused to refund any money. Whatever you do, do not consider this or any of their places to rent"

"Lower bathroom showerhead broken, entire unit stunk of Indian food coming from next door, neighbors making noise every night until early hours, TV not working. we requested some clean towels which did not arrive. lots of traffic noise. Premises not very clean. For what we paid no value at all."

I've stayed at Oaks on Market on numerous occasions as close to Southern Cross/Spencer St Train Station, very close to trams along near Collins and Flinders Sts, plus trams up Williams St (which could catch to Queen Vic Market) and all the city shopping. Has a restaurant and bar onsite. I also like the facilities (kitchenette), pool and gym. 24-hour reception is good as often arrive late. "

"The property is conveniently located in central Melbourne with a tram stop right outside the front door, train station a short walk away, China Town one street over and restaurants very close by. Staff were friendly and check in was quick and easy. We requested a quiet room and that's what we got; away from the lift and near the end of a corridor. Housekeeping is not daily, but that suited us. "
