"We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. "We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. "There was a coffee stain by the machine in my bedroom, which spoke of a certain lack of attention to detail in cleaning the room. Otherwise the room was clean and very comfortable, the shower room, towels and toiletries first rate. The staff were friendly and helpful."
