"Liked the parking"

"Even though the cost of the room was elevated because of ISU’s graduation, it’s still one of the better properties to stay if you’re in Bloomington normal. Helps that it has a really good dash of nostalgia thrown in if you’re over 40."

"Basic accommodation. If you are ok with not a lot of frills, this hotel fits the bill."

"Tv's didn't work when we checked in. Took few hours to get them working then it kept going in and out. Worked fine in the morning. Coffee maker didnt work but they did replace it.parking was difficult making unloading luggage difficult. Staff was friendly and tried hard to be accommodating. "

"The room was excellent. Breakfast choices were great, could of been hotter. Staff was polite and pleasant. "

"We had a handicapped accessable room and the shower did not work properly. The hand held spray did not work. I told the front desk and they had a repairman come and fix it the next day. It then worked but it leaked horribly. The staff was good to get someone to look at it but the repairman did a less than good job."

"King suite - accessible room. Had a Murphy bed that was a queen size and not a normal king bed as stated and reserved. Room layout was really good and roomy with a nice mini-bar area. Bathroom has some maintenance issues. Shower had some mold on the caulking by the base. Walls had holes in it from trying to hang hand rail by toilet and the toilet is not an ADA high toilet. It was so low it was hard to sit and stand. The wallpaper is peeling off walls in breakfast and dining area. ...

"This had to be the absolute worse place I’ve have ever stayed at. I can’t believe that expedia recommended me to spend my one key dollars here. It was deplorable. It was so bad that couldn’t even spend the night here. "

"Scramble eggs are great, quiet college town, close to restaurants, coffee shops, train/bus station and CVS."

"Didn't stay for breakfast. I woke up at 1 am and got the hell out of there. I only booked it because I wanted to watch the draft and smoke cigars. Yes that's right you can still get smoking rooms there. "

"Where to begin. We literally saw a mouse in our room. Called the front desk and the apologized and said they were booked. About 30 min later Called back and said they have a different room for us. That room was even worse. Mouse dropping at pee on the pull out mattresses. Looking further there were droppings on the foundation of the regular beds. So we had to go back to thr room with the mouse because they had nothing. Needless to say I didn't sleep at all. Unfortunately we couldn't go to...

"The room was just okay, nothing spectacular. I was quite disappointed that I paid extra for a suite with a whirlpool tub but after running 3 clean cycles trying to clean out the jets, there was still a lot of nasty gunk coming out so I ultimately decided against using it for bathing."

"Appreciated staying in a facility that was up to date and modern. Only complaint we have is that the elevator took way too long to close the doors, even when the button was pushed to close the doors (it did not respond)."

"The room was ok. It was clean. I'm not sure the bedding was changed on one of the beds. Nothing that would keep me away from staying again. The breakfast was not much. The coffee was ok. The hallways smelled musty. I had to pay extra when I got there, I guess an extra tax came out of nowhere, even though I prepaid. The area was nice. You can hear the road traffic some in the room. The staff were helpful and nice."

"Staff were great! We had a couple of minor problems but they were very quick to correct the issues! The Korean restaurant was very good too. "

"What a hidden gem! The hotel was very clean and our room was spacious. We both agreed that it was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept on. The staff was nice and welcoming. Will definitely stay again if we make our way back through."

"Staff was great! No Hot tub anymore! Under new ownership so they are trying to bring it up to par! Needs some major cleaning and new curtains, bed skirts, sanding and paint on bathroom door jams! Outside needed mowing and trimming Breakfast was typical. Pool was open part of the time. Again, management is trying!"

"Most of the things didn't. Work. We didn't have a phone or a working vlock. We were charged extra tax after we already paid for our room months ago. I think we should get that money back."

"We had to switch rooms because the air conditioner stopped working. The next room did not have a microwave. The clerk brought one and had to sit it on our table. There was a huge amount of white powdery substance on the bathtub and door handle. The bed was hard as a rock."
