"Room was small, very warm, clean and the bed comfortable. Shower room also was small with toilet and basin . Quite large T.V. armchair also. No coffee or tea making facilities. Free WiFi was good. The reception area,bar, sitting room was bright and welcoming as was the guy on reception. This hotel is approx 6 minutes driving from the ferry port so is ideal for a one night stay if catching or arriving on the ferry. "Stumbled across last minute availability as we were passing through, the property is impressive, lovely setting. We were in a little duplex which was very well finished and comfortable with a great spa bath! We also had time for a quick dip in the pool which is small but lovely! Only downside Restaurant was unfortunately closed so we didn’t get a chance to try it and hadn’t realised this meant the bar was also closed "

"Overall : very happy. The room was a bit small but fully equipped with kettle, tea/coffee makings and a fixed hairdryer. Breakfasts were first class buffet with good selection. The stand-out was the indoor pool 10m by 6m. Very good"
