"Sold itself as a 5 star resort but it was old and tired. Indoor pool and gymnasium were in terrible condition. Outdoor pool was closed at 6pm every day, which made it impossible to use after a hot day of sightseeing. The room was okay but didn't meet the standard we expected."

"The view was amazing, I booked a garden view and was given a view of the sea, pool and mountains further away. The area was quiet and a short distance to the beach where there are lots of surfers. The pool was very shallow for swimming in and like a warm bath with the heat warming it up. Apartment was spacious, clean, had comfortable beds. "Unfortunately, our experience at Venus Beach Hotel was very disappointing. Room: The room was dirty, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. The mirrors and sinks were never cleaned, they often forgot to leave towels, and the trash was not taken out. We complained and asked them to clean the room, but it was still just as dirty afterward. Apparently, they thought adding more soap would solve the problem. In the end, they simply left the sheets on the bed for us to make the bed...

"We stayed only one week and really enjoyed our holidays. We had spacious studio flat, comfy beds, nice bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. Comparing to other places we stayed in the past this by far is one of the best for its price and what you get. The pool is about 20 meters long which was perfect for me as I do regular to swimming. Next to the pool there is playground area for kids as well as nice bar. The owners are super friendly and helpful in every situation. We highly recommend this...

"Everything was very good. Only one issue in my room - aircon made everything wet! Was pleasantly surprised how good hotel was for the price. Another minus is that it’s quite far away from the strip. Not an issue for me but may be for others?"
