Radisson Blu Athénée Palace Resort & Thalasso, Djerba

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful property. The location on the beach is amazing and the swimming pools are huge. Breakfast was awesome. Rooms are beautiful and I liked the balcony. Couple of areas to improve would be to clean up the beach every morning to make sure it is tidy and ask guests to stop "reserving" beach chairs by putting the towel on at 6:30 AM and keeping it "reserved." We also had dinners in the Italian restaurant and it was great. Overall, great value in a beautiful area. We would return. After seeing Djerba, this location is perfect."

"Id give the staff 10/10 rating. At least to me they were all so nice, respectful and very helpful. Rooms are clean, that’s not a problem. The issue with this resort is the property was kinda let go and not well maintained for a hotel/resort that is classified as a 5 star hotel. Yes we had everything we needed in our room. But the closet were falling apart, walls were stained and the fridge although it’s hidden was rusty and old. I wouldn’t complain about the food because it’s given to have the same food in an all inclusive hotel. They change it every now and then … but it will come to a point where it’s just tiring. I also wanna point out that this is the only all inclusive I’ve been where all restaurants are not included to the all inclusive option."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. I had no idea it was inclusive till we showed up and would have thought it was good value for just the room. The dining hall was excellent and the adults only pool was appreciated. The beach is amazing - although not all parts are great for swimming. Great place to relax for a few days."

"This property like pretty much everything in Tunisia is slowly wearing down, but they keep it up very well and appeared to have a lot of pride in that. I wanted a smaller place that’s right on the beach and the beach is probably the nicest there of anywhere on the island. Room was good sized, and I liked the tile mosaics on the wall walls. Breakfast was very traditional, and good."
