I had reserved my room beginning Saturday, as I was planning to arrive very late that evening. I completed the check-in process through the app on Saturday afternoon. However, upon my arrival at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled on Saturday. This caused a significant inconvenience, as I had to wait approximately 30 minutes before receiving my room keys.
Once I entered the room, which was booked for two guests, I found that only one set of towels had been provided. Throughout my four-day stay, housekeeping service was inconsistent. My room was serviced only twice, and the second time occurred only after I personally went to inquire why it had not been cleaned. The explanation given was that I had placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door—yet no such sign had ever been present in my room.
When service was provided, the quality did not meet basic standards. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, the trash can was not emptied, and the bed was made with only one sheet, without the additional sheet and duvet that should have been provided.
Additionally, I had booked this stay as a VIP anniversary trip, and I was very disappointed that no amenities or special touches were arranged to acknowledge the occasion, despite the information provided at booking.
Overall, this experience fell short of the service and standards I expected.
