"The Middlebury Inn staff is a friendly, helpful team who are proud of the history of their inn, and it’s apparent that they want you to enjoy your experience. Our room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was always happy to get us extra of anything we needed. The food is delicious, the lobby is relaxing, and the location is perfectly placed in the center of town, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and Middlebury College."

"The place is really nice and gives you the old times feels. The heating system in the second building definitely needs to ge fixed tho, ran at 80 degrees all day and shut off at night, no way to change it per room either. They did say they were gunna get it fixed though. Staff was great and very helpful."

"The entire facility was in good condition and the room was clean and well appointed. Nevertheless, the window curtain in our room was dangling from both ends of the curtain rod. Attention to detail? For such a charming and historical building, the light bulbs in the fixtures - in the rooms and in public areas - were a hodgepodge of various LED "color temperatures." 5000K bright white bulbs are great for a gas station, but totally wrong here where they should be 2700-3000K warm white. "I asked for a receipt as I checked out, and was told it would be emailed to me. 5 days later and no receipt. Charged me for parking, but removed charge when I told them I didn't have a car. Maybe ask before charging. Liked having 2 chairs in room, and they were comfortable!"

Breakfast was quite good with the staff ensuring that the food was quickly replenished. Location is in South Burlington so parking is easy and the area is quiet and safe.
