"Myself and my family stayed here for a week . Two adults 2 young kids. The Rooms were warm clean and the bathroom too. Personally I think it’s a great base for exploring the area . The hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable especially the young chap and lady on the reception lovely people . Thank you very much for your hospitality. "

"This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I paid £55 for a night's bed and breakfast on a Saturday (the Travelodge nearby was £150 room only!). The common areas (reception and bar) were very nicely decorated / furnished and felt more like a higher priced hotel. The room was nicely done with well thought out lighting / socket placement, very fresh smelling bedding and it was exceptionally (spotlessly!) clean. Breakfast was very good (tinned fruit being the only giveaway this was a budget hotel), great selection for a full English with quality ingredients, fresh pastries. All the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if in the area, it would be my first choice."
