"The property is truly outstanding and the staff are amazing."

"We cannot say enough about our whole experience at this hotel. From the moment we drove through the tree-lined driveway to the moment we pulled away; we were attended to by the most exceptional customer service. Communication was excellent prior to and during our stay. Additionally, and since we had a very late arrival, special care was taken and every effort was made to to make our visit most memorable. We were welcomed to beautiful rooms with a bottle of wine waiting and all the amenities....

"It was nice. The staff was friendly, but the brochures need to be updated with the correct pricing, also it would be nice to know that they don’t provide certain spa services when you’re the only one asking for it. If I had know that and that the restaurants were closed most of the time, I probably would’ve gone where it was more consistent."

"This is a wonderful place to stay while in Volterra, very ** sweet place. The breakfast was by far the best one so far for us from Rome, Florence to Volterra! They also have a very nice cafe/bar up on the roof. 5* for sure!"

"Tolle Hanglage mit Blick auf die Altstadt gepflegte Gartenanlage mit Sitz und Liegestühlen. Es gibt einen kleinen Pool. Das Frühstück war ganz gut. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist das wenn man am Wochenende anreist, das Hotelrestaurant im voraus reservieren muss, ansonsten muss man außerhalb Essen gehen, da dieses ausgebucht war."

La stanza: il letto matrimoniale non era tale, ma due materassi buttati insieme. Risultato? Una fossa in mezzo che ci ha distrutto la schiena in tre notti. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous. The breakfast was fantastic and included a wide range of options. I would absolutely recommend Villa Maya."
