"Jay at the front desk was amazing very helpful. Very knowledgeable. The surprise came when I was charged $100 the morning of my stay ( before I even checked in) for “incidentals”. I don’t recall seeing that mentioned anywhere when I booked. Now, nine days later that charge is still pending on my account. Not cool."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Houston Marriott Marquis! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The restaurants and bars on the property were fantastic, with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Texas-shaped lazy river and pool area. It was such a unique experience and made us feel like we were truly on vacation. The pool service was outstanding as well—attentive, friendly, and quick to help with anything we needed. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return for another staycation!"

"We got a room for 3 days and the front desk literally gave us a room that someone had already stayed in towels were all used and wet the floors werent swept or mopped the fridge had roaches the room had roaches crawling everywhere even up to my bed ... they have all kinds of people who do drugs running around some guy was trying to rape some girl outside she was yelling rape then another guy was trying to beat up someone else yelling really loud infront of our room so if you from the trenches then that hotel is PERFECT for you DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND"

"I waited at the front desk for a long time. Rang the bell three times and it was useless. My family and I were in a rush to check in in order to make it to a graduation on time and the staff had zero urgency to check me in. Once the two staff came to the front desk, it seemed like there was training going on, which is understandable but the individual that was experienced, started grabbing mail to look at and handle, so I told her I needed to get checked in first, before she continued to ignore me."

"The lady in the front desk is useless I think because we use orbits, she put me in a room with no light. The lights on the wall did not work. The TV did not work and she still wanted to keep me in there then she moved me to a new room. The bed must be 50 years old horrible and microwave didn’t work and she was pissed that she had to bring me a new one with a huge attitude. The property has beer bottles everywhere people walking around and not safe at all. It’s disgusting outside. Beware of this place. Red Roof Inn should be ashamed of themselves."
