"We thought the Empress was excellent. We flew on the sea planes from Vancouver coal harbor to Victoria. (Same plce the cruise ships dock.) The float planes land on the Victoria bay and dock right in front of the Empress hotel! What an experience. Also, we did the Empress "high tea", which the Empress calls an "afternoon tea". Worth the price to experience such a fancy high tea!"
