"The location was just perfect to where we needed to be. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The room was spacious and clean. Couldn't hear lots of noise which made for a restful sleep. The best surprise was the bar! We loved all the drinks there. 100/100 in taste, design, and the bar staff was so fun and friendly. Will definitely go back at this hotel if we are in MN again."

"Rand hotel property was fine. Rooms were clean and in good condition. During a summer heat (and smoke)-wave the ac performed well. Main complaint about stay was the lack of consistency in daily room cleaning. One day no maid service was performed and we had to alert the front desk. Other days at least one important task was not completed, e.g. too few towels/cloths, coffee maker not re-stocked, etc. The main entrance from the street was a bit cumbersome, 2 steps and then double doors. "Room had a musty odor the entire time and shower head is in need of replacement (sprayed everywhere and was not enjoyable). Only had one person checking out in the morning and had to wait a decent amount of time. I told him about the odor but he was frazzled with customers and phone ringing that I doubt anything will be addressed with the room. I’d recommend avoiding room 585. "

"Was nice to have parking at the hotel with the connected parking garage. As of Summer 2026 the parking was $23.00 every calendar day. Room was nice bed was comfortable the pillows weren't comfortable to me one too flat, two too much. Breakfast every morning was good. They usually had the same selection, but had a good variety. The downtown area is little rough at night so don't recommend venturing out too late at night. The hotel felt secure with needing a room key to enter hotel lobby...
