Great little hotel

Very clean small rooms in the very centre of the entertainment and restaraunt district of Miri. Staff are accommodating and have a large left luggage area so you can lighten your pack for Mulu or the Bario Highlands.

Had to change rooms twice

First room smelled like cigarettes. Second room had a rat running around (it ate some food I had and I got a video of it so I’m sure). Went to reception, showed the video and was given a new room but no help to move, it was 2am. Moved but am quite sure there was a rat in the second room too, heard noises but didn’t see it. Managed to sleep. There’s holes between the windows and roof and above the ACs so that’s where the rat got in. Weird layout of the bathroom but hot water worked. Wi-Fi was quite good. Reasonably clean all over, including bedsheets. Location is really good!
