During our trip to Koh Lanta, we decided to take a kayaking trip. Our long tail boat broke down in the mangrove forest and we were picked up by the next passing boat. We continued our trip with Sea Canoe, the company that very graciously pulled us out of the water. Ahead is Koh Talabeng which is full of caves. I highly recommend this kayaking/caving tour package.

Popular places to visit

Hiking in Ko Lanta National Park between monkeys and tropical forest trees. Cost of the entry is not so expensive and you'll be free to relax on the beach, to practice some outside yoga or to hick the forest or the rocks by walk, all the day. Be careful from the monkeys which are freely walking in the Park, but which can become a little bit agressive if you stay to close from them.

This is a lovely beach to relax and swim at. Kantiang beach is definitely one of the cleanest beaches that we have seen in Thailand. We were fortunate enough to see why the beach was so clean. The local workers from the Pimalai Resort and Spa spent sometime from work cleaning up the beach. I wish other locals and hotels would do the same to help the pollution issues that the beaches and seas are facing here in Thailand as well as around the world. It also looked like a great team building experience. You can find this beach on the way to the Southern most point of Ko Lanta.
