"5-6-26, upon arrival I remembered I stay here before during the pandemic. Using the Hotels.com app doesn’t give you history of previous stays.
The clerk was very nice and welcoming. She advised me upfront that the property is going through a renovation and if I had any issues with my room, she would take care of it immediately. I didn’t have any problems and it was pretty nice. The room, bathroom and floor was very clean. I understand some rooms might have issues but mine did not. The only issue I had was that the occupants above me walked pretty heavy and it was enough to wake me up. If I return back to Tillmans Corner/Alabama area, I’d stay here again."
"When my mom fell in the night, the staff was able to get us a wheelchair in just minutes so we could get her to the med clinic to be check out. They said not to worry about our checkout time. They would take care of it.
All was okay with my mom and we got back in time to enjoy breakfast. Thanx for your quick actions."
"The person at the desk was super helpful. The ice machine was broken so he got us some ice. The elevator was broken and being seniors and women he carried our 50lb suitcases up to floor 3. I don’t know what we would have done if he hadn’t helped us. It is an old building so can use some repairs but otherwise not bad. I would stay there again if tge elevator worked."
"Staff were excellent. The AC was broken in the lobby area for 2 days making the bar/ food experience horrible. The lobby area and outside are beautiful. When you get to the rooms, not so much. Old rooms, need updating, air doesn’t cool in the rooms that great. Rust on most of the appliances/fixtures/faucets. Room service came as they should. Not a bad place to stay but don’t be fooled by the pictures online."
"There was nothing to not like about this place. The service, the amenities, the room, all were impeccable. We booked on a Sunday night and got a very good rate. We would highly recommend this property."
