"This is one of the toughest reviews I have had to write. I was in the city to stay with my dad for a couple of weeks. We spent the second week in welcomgroup hotel. I’ve stayed at the hotel chain in other cities so knew they have a high standard. The experience, this time, was mixed. The staff was absolutely fantastic across the board. They offered us every courtesy and convenience we could have asked for. It was a top tier experience in terms of staff willingness to help. Having said that, the hotel infrastructure had issues. Slow shower drain caused bathroom to flood, wifi had technical issues, the doorbell had technical issues, the battery operated in-room safe had no batteries in it. These were operational issues. From a design standpoint, the twin beds were narrower than typical. The room had a desk and an office chair but wasn’t spacious enough to accommodate a coffee table. There wasn’t enough space in the room for in room dining for 2 people. The in room dining service was inconsistent. Although the food was great. The infrastructure is obviously quite new and modern with several automations, elegant fixtures and high standards. But the processes required to uphold a high standard suggest that the hotel management can do a vastly better job to improve employee and customer experience. Having said all of that, I absolutely loved the hospitality orientation of every staff member. They are a lovely bunch. So I will definitely stay here the next time I am here. "

"They overcharged us 1000inr for a room that was already booked. They show online maximum adults allowed are 2. But they didn’t let 2 person in. "

"I stayed at BWP for 5 days. Without doubt I can say the staff here is the best hotel staff I have seen in over 40 years of travelling. The service orientation across the board from greeting staff, bell boys, reception, house keeping, room service, cafeterias, etc is unmatched. The amenities and the facility compares favourably with other hotels in the similar class. The service standards set them apart. Thanks to the BWP plus Mohali team for taking such great care of us. "

"Room had bugs, I was tired so i went to sleep for barely 2 hours in 3 days but i was waking up itchy everyday, When I looked closely there was about 1000 bugs on the bed and behind. When I asked them about what tf this was? they responded “why are you 3 people in the room” I got super mad and showed them i booked for 3 why does it not have an extra bed? Then the lady looked and was like maybe you dropped something sweet. I don’t eat sugar. Neither was my cousin, as we were in the room to sleep for an hour and leave after 1-2 hours. Terrible place. I have videos of the bugs freeroaming the room. Room was never clean in the first place. then the manager came and told me to not post the video and I’ll be refunded, I can careless about a refund after 1 whole week This is a terrible place to be at. Don’t stay here if you dont want bed bugs."
