"I can’t tell you the last time I slept on a mattress so incredibly uncomfortable like this one was. The springs in the mattress were all you felt throughout the night and this mattress reminded me of the mattresses. I grew up, going to the camping cabin and sleeping on in Michigan in the early 80s. I highly recommend purchasing new mattresses."

"Staff were very pleasant. Properties immediately adjacent to the hotel are vacant and hotel is closer to outskirts of downtown. Photos are deceiving. Rooms were very clean again. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating."

"Wonderful. Loved this place, the lady on the desk was absolutely brilliant. We had a really long chat, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was wonderful also. I really wished I could remember the ladies name, so sorry. This place is an absolute gem, made even better by the friendly staff. Clean room, a little dated, but who cares, I’d rather have a clean, comfortable and warm welcoming place, than a cold reception. Thanks again x"

"Room wasn’t bad. Bathroom could have been better. Toilet seat was broken. The shower water temperature was labeled wrong. Beds were nice. Good air conditioning. "

"Beautiful, secluded property. House has ample space with 2 bedrooms (w/interior large closet outfitted as extra mini bedrooom), and all the amenities one could ask for - including sparkletts water station for filling all of our hiking bottles and a washer & dryer. 2mile dirt road that leads to the house was ok to drive in my big suv, even though I was nervous at first! Personal touches of polaroid camera to snap a pic of guests & journal to log the stay made it feel special too. :) "
