"I live in Indiana. My daughter lives in New Jersey. She had her first gymnastics recital over the weekend. I booked this room because it had a pool. My daughter and I go out to the pool and find out it’s not open. I called the front desk and she said that it wasn’t going to be open until July 4. I’m very upset because my daughter loves to swim and I was looking forward to doing that with her all to find out I couldn’t and nowhere on Expedia did it say the pool wasn’t open. "The room was nice (clean, organized). We did not receive any soap, shampoo or conditioner but the shower worked well. The bed was comfortable to sleep in and there were no bugs. "

"They lost my reservation information, so I had to both text and email my Expedia booking twice. There was a system error the day before I was supposed to be there . They did not send me the code or check in information until a half hour before I arrived; I had to call several times. When I did get in the room, no one had cleaned it. There were pizza boxes, wet towels, and unmade beds. I called the hotline again and they moved me to the Motel 6 next door. I had to pay out of pocket for that new...

"Every year for the past 4 years I stay at this hotel to go to Belmar Beach. Very clean. Quiet, pool is clean. The continental breakfast is excellent and hot. The staff is polite professional. Looking forward to next year already 😄"

"I guess you get what you paid for. The room we were given had a leaking ceilin. when I told the front desk they were able to switch our room. Property and room overall was not clean and very outdated. Cracks in walls, stains, cigarette burns on sheets, unclean floors."

"We loved The Country Inn! If we find ourselves back in the area, we would stay there again. Super clean, easy parking, convenient location and very friendly staff. A quiet, peaceful place with nice country style decor. AC worked great, pre-bagged ice available for guests, beautiful desk in our room, and a rocking chair. Highly recommend!"

"We were told check out was at 11AM, but housekeeping was knocking on our door around 9 AM reminding us of check out time. We checked in at 11 PM, and would have liked more rest. We did NOT feel that it was necessary for housekeeping to knock on our door waking us up 2 hours before the checkout time."

"Bed looking like they never pulled up the blankets underneath so it looked all bunched up at the foot of the bed under the bedspread, made me question if sheets were changed. No trash bags in any can. Lighted mirror didn’t work. People left door screaming all night til 3am and they did nothing by about it. I have stayed here a few times and each time it’s always something. Staff this time around seemed very cold and robotic. I felt uncomfortable"
